Literature Text

The light hits his face like a ghost in the night
As the cold moon stares at us
He played a lullaby on his guitar tonight
To chase away my doubts
That he just might not be the one for me
I don't know why I question it 'cause
Whenever he catches my eye
Oh, does he ever hold a gaze
That you just can't turn away
And it makes it worth it
He's finding out all my
Insecurites and secrecies
Just by looking at my eyes
He says, I can see what you need
But it's not what you're reaching for
He made me own little corner
'Cause he knows how wrong I am-
Because he is too
And when I reach for my pen
He'll say, What's new in your head?
And I'll write,
You and all of your magic
The way you take me away
And how I, I never thought I would
Be blown away
But your roots are growing deeper in me
You infectious thing
But I no longer give a care
I'm falling for you
So fight all my doubts, so I can
Come away
Come away
He wrote me a song
I was singing along
By the third line
And we harmonized so perfectly
I thought it was a dream
And the moment
He switched his gaze to me
I couldn't even hear him sing
I think he's finally getting to me
Oh what a beautiful thing
Well...
It doesn't rhyme.
It doesn't really make sense.
And it's way too mushy.

But I'm in a mushy mood. :P So...yah.
